considering whether or not to become an OLIBS Replicating Breeder, several
factors and responsibilities should be considered including: |

- Assume
ownership of both OLIBS ewes and rams
- Must
de-populate any current flock and disinfect buildings
- Share
replacement genetics with other Replicating Breeders via AI or embryo
transfer
- Produce
replacement ewe lambs for commercial producers and/or uniform lamb
for meat sales
- OLIBS
name is trademark protected by the University of Guelph to protect
product integrity
- Only
OLIBS Association members can market breeding stock using the OLIBS
name
- $300
price for ewe lambs at 100 days of age, $500 price for breeding age
rams
